स्वाध्यायवन्त: शुचयो मधुरा: प्रियवादिन: । आनुपूर्व्येण सम्प्राप्ता: पज्चालान्‌ पाण्डुनन्दना:,(प्रतिदिन) स्वाध्यायमें तत्पर रहनेवाले, पवित्र, मधुर प्रकृतिवाले तथा प्रियवादी पाण्डुकुमार इस तरह चलकर क्रमश: पांचालदेशमें जा पहुँचे

Transliteration

svādhyāyavantaḥ śucayo madhurāḥ priyavādinaḥ | ānupūrvyena samprāptāḥ pāñcālān pāṇḍunandanāḥ ||

Translation

บุตรแห่งปาณฑุ ผู้มั่นคงในสวาธยาย ประพฤติบริสุทธิ์ มีอัธยาศัยอ่อนโยน และวาจาไพเราะ ได้เดินทางไปตามลำดับ จนถึงแคว้นปาญจาล
