अर्जुनस्य लक्ष्यवेधः

Arjuna’s Hitting of the Target at the Svayaṃvara

अनेनैव च विख्यातो नाम्ना लोकेषु सत्तम: । स ऑर्व इति विप्रर्षिरूरुं भित्तता व्यजायत,वे साधुशिरोमणि ब्रह्मर्षि अपनी माताका ऊरु भेदन करके उत्पन्न हुए थे, इसी कारण लोकमें “और्व” नामसे उनकी ख्याति हुई

anenaiva ca vikhyāto nāmnā lokeṣu sattamaḥ | sa aurva iti viprarṣir ūruṁ bhittvā vyajāyata |

วสิษฐะกล่าวว่า “โอ บุรุษผู้ประเสริฐ ด้วยเหตุนี้เองเขาจึงเลื่องลือในโลกทั้งหลายด้วยนามนั้น ฤๅษีพราหมณ์ผู้นั้นถือกำเนิดโดยผ่าต้นขา (อูรุ) ของมารดา ฉะนั้นจึงเป็นที่รู้จักในโลกว่า ‘เอารวะ’”
