कल्माषपाद-शाप-कारणम्

Cause of Kalmāṣapāda’s Niyoga under a Curse

ततो द्वादश वर्षाणि काननेषु वनेषु च । रेमे तस्मिन्‌ गिरौ राजा तथैव सह भार्यया,वे उसी पर्वतके वनों और काननोंमें अपनी पत्नीके साथ उसी प्रकार बारह वर्षोंतक रमण करते रहे

tato dvādaśa varṣāṇi kānaneṣu vaneṣu ca | reme tasmin girau rājā tathaiva saha bhāryayā ||

ต่อมา พระราชาได้พำนักและเสวยความรื่นรมย์อยู่ในพนาลีและไพรพฤกษ์แห่งภูผานั้นร่วมกับพระชายา ดังเดิมตลอดสิบสองปี
