और्वकृत-क्रोधाग्नि-निग्रहः
Aurva’s Containment of the Wrath-Fire
सम्प्राप्तयौवनां पश्यन् देयां दुहितरं तु ताम् । नोपलेभे ततः शान्तिं सम्प्रदानं विचिन्तयन्,वह युवावस्थाको प्राप्त हो गयी। अब उसका किसीके साथ विवाह कर देना आवश्यक था। उसे उस अवस्थामें देखकर भगवान् सूर्य इस चिन्तामें पड़े कि इसका विवाह किसके साथ किया जाय। यही सोचकर उन्हें शान्ति नहीं मिलती थी
samprāptayauvanāṃ paśyan deyāṃ duhitaraṃ tu tām | nopalebhe tataḥ śāntiṃ sampradānaṃ vicintayan ||
ครั้นเห็นว่าธิดาได้ถึงวัยสาว และบัดนี้ควรยกให้แต่งงานตามธรรมแล้ว เขาก็หมกมุ่นครุ่นคิดว่า จะมอบนางให้ผู้ใดจึงเหมาะสม ยิ่งคิดยิ่งไม่อาจได้ความสงบในใจเลย
