Educational Q&A

The colophon frames the episode as a dharmic act: a strong and capable person accepts responsibility to remove a violent oppressor, prioritizing the safety and welfare of the community.

This is the chapter-ending notice stating that the chapter about Bhīma’s acceptance/undertaking to kill the rākṣasa Baka—within the Bakavadha episode of the Ādi Parva—has been completed.
