समर्थ: पोषणे चासि सुतयो रक्षणे तथा । न त्वहं सुतयो: शक्ता तथा रक्षणपोषणे,इन दोनों संतानोंका पालन-पोषण और संरक्षण करनेमें आप समर्थ हैं। आपकी तरह मैं इन दोनोंके पालन-पोषण तथा रक्षाकी व्यवस्था नहीं कर सकूँगी
samarthaḥ poṣaṇe cāsi sutayo rakṣaṇe tathā | na tv ahaṃ sutayoḥ śaktā tathā rakṣaṇa-poṣaṇe ||
พราหมณีหญิงกล่าวว่า “ท่านสามารถเลี้ยงดูและคุ้มครองเด็กทั้งสองนี้ได้ แต่ข้าพเจ้าไม่อาจจัดการการเลี้ยงดูและการปกป้องเขาทั้งสองได้เท่าท่าน”
