Drupada’s Putrakāmeṣṭi: The Sacrificial Birth of Dhṛṣṭadyumna and Kṛṣṇā

यावत्‌ कालेन भवति पुत्रस्योत्पादनं शुभे । तावत्‌ कालं॑ गमिष्यामि त्वया सह सुमध्यमे,'शुभे! सुमध्यमे! जबतक तुम्हें पुत्रकी उत्पत्ति न हो जाय तभीतक मैं तुम्हारे साथ विहारके लिये चलूँगा”

yāvat kālena bhavati putrasyotpādanaṃ śubhe | tāvat kālaṃ gamiṣyāmi tvayā saha sumadhyame ||

“โอ้สตรีผู้เป็นมงคล โอ้ผู้มีเอวอรชร ตราบใดที่กาลยังไม่บันดาลให้เจ้ามีบุตรชายถือกำเนิด เราจักอยู่และไปกับเจ้า ร่วมเสพความรื่นรมย์และการท่องเที่ยวด้วยกัน”
