Educational Q&A

The verse highlights dharmic conduct: even in movement and uncertainty, the Pāṇḍavas first honor brāhmaṇas devoted to their duties, implying reverence for learning, ritual responsibility, and moral order.

After entering the city, the Pāṇḍavas promptly go to the homes of brāhmaṇas who are engaged in their prescribed works, suggesting they seek proper guidance, blessings, or rightful social anchoring.
