अग्निं स्तोकमिवात्मानं संधुक्षयति यो नर: । स वर्धमानो ग्रसते महान्तमपि संचयम्
agniṁ stokam ivātmānaṁ sandhukṣayati yo naraḥ | sa vardhamāno grasate mahāntam api sañcayam ||
ดุจไฟน้อยที่ค่อย ๆ ถูกสุมให้ลุก ผู้ใดค่อย ๆ สั่งสมกำลังและทรัพยากรของตนด้วยปัจจัยเกื้อหนุน ผู้นั้นย่อมเติบใหญ่ตามกาล จนสามารถกลืนกินแม้กองสั่งสมอันมหาศาลของศัตรูได้ ดุจเปลวไฟกลืนเชื้อเพลิง
