Droṇa’s Ācārya-Dakṣiṇā: Capture of Drupada and Division of Pāñcāla (द्रोण-आचार्यदक्षिणा)

न्यवेदयंस्तत्‌ पुरुषा धार्तराष्ट्राय वै तदा । ततो दुर्योधनस्तत्र पाण्डवानाह दुर्मति:,तदनन्तर राजपुरुषोंने दुर्योधनको सूचना दी कि “सब तैयारी पूरी हो गयी है।' तब खोटी बुद्धिवाले दुर्योधनने पाण्डवोंसे कहा--

nyavedayaṁs tat puruṣā dhārtarāṣṭrāya vai tadā | tato duryodhanas tatra pāṇḍavān āha durmatiḥ ||

ครั้นนั้น ข้าราชบริพารได้กราบทูลเรื่องนั้นแก่ทุรโยธนะ โอรสแห่งธฤตราษฏระ แล้วทุรโยธนะผู้มีความคิดคดก็กล่าวแก่เหล่าปาณฑพว่า—
