Educational Q&A

As a colophon, the verse primarily signals closure, but it also frames the episode’s ethical implication: extraordinary power or advantage (symbolized by ‘rasa’) is meaningful when aligned with dharma—used for protection and rightful purpose rather than pride or harm.

This is the chapter-ending statement: it announces that the chapter in the Sambhava Parva of the Ādi Parva—centered on Bhīmasena’s ‘rasapāna’ episode—has concluded, preparing the listener for the next segment of the origin narrative.
