अम्बिके तव पौत्रस्य दुर्नयात् किल भारता: । सानुबन्धा विनडृशक्ष्यन्ति पौराश्चैवेति नः श्रुतम्,“अम्बिके! तुम्हारे पौत्रके अन्यायसे भरतवंशी वीर तथा इस नगरके लोग सगे- सम्बन्धियोंसहित नष्ट हो जायँगे--ऐसी बात मैंने सुनी है
ambike tava pautrasya durnayāt kila bhāratāḥ | sānubandhā vinaḍṛśakṣyanti paurāś caiveti naḥ śrutam ||
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “โอ้ อัมพิกา ได้ยินกันว่าเพราะความประพฤติผิดของหลานเจ้า เหล่าภารตะจักพินาศพร้อมญาติและผู้พึ่งพา และชาวเมืองนี้ด้วย—นี่คือสิ่งที่เราได้ยินมา.”
