Āstravidyā-Pradarśana: The Kuru Princes’ Public Demonstration of Arms (आस्त्रविद्या-प्रदर्शनम्)
नकुल॑ सहदेवं च रूपेणाप्रतिमौ भुवि । तथैव तावपि यमौ वागुवाचाशरीरिणी,उनमेंसे एकका नाम नकुल था और दूसरेका सहदेव। पृथ्वीपर सुन्दर रूपमें उन दोनोंकी समानता करनेवाला दूसरा कोई नहीं था। पहलेकी तरह उन दोनों यमल संतानोंके विषयमें भी आकाशवाणीने कहा--
nakulaṃ sahadevaṃ ca rūpeṇāpratimau bhuvi | tathaiva tāv api yamau vāg uvācāśarīriṇī ||
และพระโอรสทั้งสองนั้นมีนามว่า นกุล กับ สหเทวะ งามล้ำหาที่เปรียบมิได้ในพื้นพิภพ และดังเช่นก่อนหน้านั้นเอง เกี่ยวกับโอรสฝาแฝดทั้งสองก็มีสุรเสียงไร้กายประกาศขึ้น
