पाण्डोः श्राद्धं, सत्यवत्याः वनगमनम्, बाल्यस्पर्धा च

स चैत्ररथमासाद्य कालकूटमतीत्य च । हिमवन्तमतिक्रम्य प्रययौ गन्धमादनम्,तत्पश्चात् चैत्रथ नामक वनमें जाकर कालकूट और हिमालय पर्वतको लाँघते हुए वे गन्धमादनपर चले गये
sa caitraratham āsādya kālakūṭam atītya ca | himavantam atikramya prayayau gandhamādanam ||
ต่อจากนั้นเขาไปถึงป่าไจตรรถ แล้วข้ามกาลกูฏา ล่วงพ้นหิมวันต์ (หิมาลัย) และมุ่งหน้าไปยังคันธมาทนะ
