Pāṇḍu’s Funeral Rites and Public Mourning
पौरवाणां महाराज तेषामक्लिष्टकर्मणाम् | वंशे जातस्य कौरव्य नानुरूपमिदं तव,महाराज! क्लेशरहित कर्म करनेवाले कुरुवंशियोंके कुलमें जन्म लेकर तुमने जो यह कार्य किया है, यह तुम्हारे अनुरूप नहीं है
pauravāṇāṃ mahārāja teṣām akliṣṭakarmaṇām | vaṃśe jātasya kauravya nānurūpam idaṃ tava, mahārāja ||
ข้าแต่มหาราช พระองค์ทรงบังเกิดในวงศ์ปุรวะ ผู้มีกรรมอันไม่แปดเปื้อนด้วยความโหดร้ายหรือการก่อทุกข์แก่ผู้อื่น โอ กุรวยะ การกระทำนี้ไม่สมควรแก่พระองค์เลย
