Pāṇḍu’s Gifts, Forest Residence, and Vidura’s Marriage
श्वश्वास्तद् वचन श्रुत्वा शयाना शयने शुभे । साचिन्तयत् तदा भीष्ममन्यांश्व॒ कुरुपुड्रवान्,सासकी यह बात सुनकर कौसल्या पवित्र शय्यापर शयन करके उस समय मन-ही-मन भीष्म तथा अन्य श्रेष्ठ कुरुवंशियोंका चिन्तन करने लगी
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: Śvaśvā tad vacanaṃ śrutvā śayānā śayane śubhe | sā cintayat tadā Bhīṣmam anyāṃś ca Kuru-puṅgavān ||
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า—ครั้นได้ยินถ้อยคำนั้นแล้ว ศวศวาผู้เอนกายอยู่บนแท่นบรรทมอันเป็นมงคล ก็เริ่มรำพึงในใจถึงภีษมะและวีรบุรุษผู้เลิศแห่งวงศ์กุรุอื่น ๆ ในกาลนั้น
