Pāṇḍu’s Gifts, Forest Residence, and Vidura’s Marriage
कौसल्ये देवरस्ते5स्ति सोडउ्द्य त्वानुप्रवेक्ष्यति । अप्रमत्ता प्रतीक्षेनं निशीथे ह्वागमिष्यति,“कौसल्पे! तुम्हारे एक देवर हैं, वे ही आज तुम्हारे पास गर्भाधानके लिये आयेंगे। तुम सावधान होकर उनकी प्रतीक्षा करो। वे ठीक आधी रातके समय यहाँ पधारेंगे”
Kausalye devaras te 'sti so 'dya tvām anupravekṣyati | apramattā pratīkṣainaṃ niśīthe hy āgamiṣyati ||
“กุสัลยา เจ้ามีเดวร (น้องชายของสามี) อยู่ผู้หนึ่ง วันนี้เขาจะมาหาเจ้าเพื่อการให้กำเนิดบุตร จงระวังตัวและคอยเขาไว้ เขาจะมาถึงที่นี่ตรงเวลาเที่ยงคืน”
