न ते शक्‍्यमनाख्यातुमापद्धर्म तथाविधम्‌ । त्वमेव नः कुले धर्मस्त्वं सत्यं त्वं परा गति:,'ऐसे आपद्धर्मको देखकर वह बात तुम्हें बताये बिना मैं नहीं रह सकती। तुम्हीं हमारे कुलमें मूर्तिमान्‌ धर्म हो, तुम्हीं सत्य हो और तुम्हीं परम गति हो

na te śakyam anākhyātum āpaddharma tathāvidham | tvam eva naḥ kule dharmas tvaṃ satyaṃ tvaṃ parā gatiḥ ||

“เมื่อเห็นธรรมะยามคับขันเช่นนี้ ข้าพเจ้ามิอาจอดกลั้นไม่กล่าวแก่ท่านได้ ในสกุลของเรา ท่านคือธรรมะที่มีชีวิต ท่านคือสัจจะ และท่านคือที่พึ่งสูงสุด—คือปลายทางอันประเสริฐยิ่ง”
