परित्यजेयं त्रैलोक्यं राज्यं देवेषु वा पुन: । यद्‌ वाप्यधिकमेताभ्यां न तु सत्यं कथंचन,“मैं तीनों लोकोंका राज्य, देवताओंका साम्राज्य अथवा इन दोनोंसे भी अधिक महत्त्वकी वस्तुको भी एकदम त्याग सकता हूँ, परंतु सत्यको किसी प्रकार नहीं छोड़ सकता

parityajeyaṁ trailokyaṁ rājyaṁ deveṣu vā punaḥ | yad vāpy adhikam etābhyāṁ na tu satyaṁ kathaṁcana ||

“ข้าสามารถสละอำนาจเหนือไตรโลก หรือแม้ความเป็นใหญ่ในหมู่เทพ—กระทั่งสิ่งใดที่ยิ่งกว่าสองประการนั้น—แต่ข้าจะไม่ละทิ้งสัจจะไม่ว่ากรณีใด”
