Suta Goswami (narrating Śaiva ritual discipline to the sages of Naimiṣāraṇya, drawing on internal Purāṇic instruction)
It presents Śiva-prasāda (mantra-empowered food) as a purifying support for the sādhaka—strengthening the body so the Pashu (individual soul) can steadily perform Liṅga-pūjā and progress toward Pati (Śiva).
Śiva is implied as the supreme purifier whose mantra transforms ordinary food into a sanctifying medium, loosening pasha (bondage) expressed even as bodily disorder and restoring harmony conducive to sādhanā.
The practice is consuming abhimantrita anna—food consecrated with Śiva-mantra—along with an ekādaśa (elevenfold) regimen of discipline, functioning as a vrata-based support to Śaiva sādhanā.
