Uma–Maheshvara Vrata, Shula-dana, and Month-wise Ekabhakta Vrata
सुवर्णवस्त्रसंयुक्तं दत्त्वा सम्पूज्य शङ्करम् ब्राह्मणान् भोजयित्वा च पूर्वोक्तमखिलं भवेत्
suvarṇavastrasaṃyuktaṃ dattvā sampūjya śaṅkaram brāhmaṇān bhojayitvā ca pūrvoktamakhilaṃ bhavet
เมื่อถวายทานพร้อมทองคำและผ้า บูชาพระศังกระอย่างครบถ้วน และเลี้ยงภัตตาหารแก่พราหมณ์แล้ว ผลทั้งปวงที่กล่าวไว้ก่อนหน้าย่อมบังเกิดโดยแน่นอน
Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It teaches that Linga/Shiva-puja is ritually completed by dana (gifts like gold and cloth) and brahmana-bhojana, which together secure the full previously-described fruit (phala) of worship.
By naming him Śaṅkara, it emphasizes Shiva as the beneficent Pati who bestows the promised fruits when approached through proper puja joined with dharmic giving and service.
Ritual practice: dana (suvarṇa-vastra) and brahmana-bhojana as auxiliaries to Shiva-puja; the yogic takeaway is that devotion expressed through selfless offering helps loosen pasha (bondage) for the pashu under the grace of Pati.
