bhūbhāranigrahārthaṃ ca hy avatīrṇaṃ jagadgurum ato vai sarvakalyāṇaṃ yādavānāṃ bhaviṣyati
Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It frames divine descent as an act of cosmic restoration: the Jagadguru manifests to remove adharmic pressure on Bhūmi, reinforcing that worship of the Supreme Pati (as Linga) aligns the devotee with universal kalyāṇa (auspicious order).
Shiva-tattva is indicated through the title Jagadguru—Pati as the supreme guide who intervenes for loka-saṅgraha (world-order). His descent is not bondage-driven like a pashu’s birth, but a compassionate, sovereign act to regulate pasha-bound disorder.
No specific rite is named, but the implication supports Pāśupata orientation: take refuge in the Jagadguru (Pati), practice dharma and devotion (bhakti with discipline), and seek kalyāṇa through Shiva-centered worship and inner restraint (nigraha) of adharmic tendencies.
