सूर्यरथनिर्णयः (चन्द्रस्य पक्षवृद्धिक्षयविधानम्)

एकरात्रिं सुराः सर्वे पितृभिस्त्वृषिभिः सह सोमस्य कृष्णपक्षादौ भास्कराभिमुखस्य च

Transliteration

ekarātriṃ surāḥ sarve pitṛbhistvṛṣibhiḥ saha somasya kṛṣṇapakṣādau bhāskarābhimukhasya ca

Translation

เมื่อเริ่มกฤษณปักษ์ของโสมะ เหล่าเทวะทั้งปวงพร้อมด้วยปิตฤและฤๅษี หันหน้าเข้าหาพระอาทิตย์ ประพฤติวัตรบูชาหนึ่งราตรี—เป็นพิธีศักดิ์สิทธิ์ตามฤตะ อันพระปติศิวะทรงค้ำจุน
