FAQs

It frames ritual authority as qualification-based: in Linga-oriented Shaiva practice, mantra, tapas, and dharma determine who is fit to perform or preside—pointing to disciplined eligibility rather than mere status.

Indirectly, it implies a Shaiva metaphysic of Pati’s governance: the cosmos is ordered by measurable adhikāra (fitness)—tejas, tapas, mantra, and dharma—reflecting Shiva’s role as the regulator of powers, not a random distributor of boons.

Adhikāra (eligibility) grounded in tapas and yoga: mantras are effective when joined to yogic fitness and dharmic conduct—an outlook aligned with Pashupata discipline and regulated mantra-sādhana.
