सप्तद्वीप-सप्तसमुद्र-वर्णनम् तथा प्रियव्रतवंश-राज्यविभागः

अलदं जलदस्याथ वर्षं प्रथममुच्यते कुमारस्य तु कौमारं द्वितीयं परिकीर्तितम्

aladaṃ jaladasyātha varṣaṃ prathamamucyate kumārasya tu kaumāraṃ dvitīyaṃ parikīrtitam

สำหรับชลทะ นามแรกเรียกว่า ‘วรรษะ’ (รูปแห่งฤดูฝน). สำหรับกุมาระ นามที่สองประกาศว่า ‘เกามาระ’ (วัยเยาว์)
