เมื่อทอดพระเนตรเขาและประสงค์จะสั่งสอนพิธีบูชา พระศังกระตรัสว่า “ท่านคือพระนารายณ์แท้ และท่านคือพระศักระ (อินทรา) โดยตรง—ผู้ประเสริฐยิ่งในหมู่เทพ”
