पिता पितामहश्चैव तथैव प्रपितामहः / यो यस्य म्रियते तस्मै देयं नान्यस्य तेन तु
pitā pitāmahaścaiva tathaiva prapitāmahaḥ / yo yasya mriyate tasmai deyaṃ nānyasya tena tu

The verse does not explicitly address Śiva–Viṣṇu unity; it focuses on pitṛ-dharma. In the Kurma Purana’s broader synthesis, correct dharma (including śrāddha) is upheld as universally valid across Śaiva and Vaiṣṇava worship frameworks.
