मा नः॒ पाशं॒ प्रति॑ मुचो गु॒रुर्भा॒रो ल॒घुर्भ॑व । व॒धूमि॑व त्वा शाले यत्र॒कामं॑ भरामसि

mā́ naḥ pā́śaṃ práti muco gurúr bhā́ro laghúr bhava | vadhū́m iva tvā śā́le yatrakā́maṃ bharāmasi ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Cast not back upon us the noose: let the heavy burden be made light. Like a bride, O Hall, we bear thee onward, even as we list, unto the place desired.

Translation

อย่าเหวี่ยงบ่วง (pāśa) กลับมาสู่พวกเรา ขอให้ภาระหนักกลายเป็นเบา โอ ศาลา (Śālā) เราแบกท่านไปดุจเจ้าสาว ตามที่เราปรารถนา ไปยังสถานที่ที่ต้องการ
