Sukta 9
को नु गौः क एकऋषिः किमु धाम का आशिषः । यक्षं पृथिव्यामेकवृदेकर्तुः कतमो नु सः
kó nú gaúḥ ká ékaṛ́ṣiḥ kím u dhā́ma kā́ āśíṣaḥ | yákṣaṃ pṛthivyā́m ekavṛ́d ekaṛ́tuḥ katamó nú sáḥ ||
Who, pray, is the Cow? who is the One Seer? what, indeed, the Station? what are the Blessings? The Yakṣa on Earth, of single circuit, of single season— which, now, is He?
โคนั้นคือผู้ใด? ฤๅษีผู้เดียวคือผู้ใด? แท้จริง “ฐาน/ที่สถิต” (dhāman) คืออะไร? “พร/คำอธิษฐาน” (āśis) คืออะไร? ยักษะ (Yakṣa) บนแผ่นดิน ผู้มีการเวียนเพียงหนึ่ง ผู้มีฤดูกาลเพียงหนึ่ง—บัดนี้ท่านผู้นั้นคือผู้ใดกัน?
