Sukta 3
सुकर्मानः सुरुचो देवयन्तो अयो न देवा जनिमा धमन्तः । शुचन्तो अग्निं वावृधन्त इन्द्रमुर्वीं गव्यां परिषदं नो अक्रन्
sukármāṇaḥ surúco devayánto áyo ná devā́ jánimā dhámantaḥ | śúcanto agním vāvṛdhánta índram urvī́ṃ gavyā́ṃ paríṣadaṃ no akran ||
Good workers, fair-shining, godward, like gods forging as with iron the very birth—being pure they strengthened Agni; and Indra they strengthened; and for us they made a wide, cattle-rich enclosure and assembly-seat.
ผู้ทำกรรมดี ผู้ส่องสว่างงดงาม ผู้มุ่งสู่เทพทั้งหลาย—ดุจเทพผู้ตีเหล็ก เขาทั้งหลายตีแต่งแม้แต่ “การบังเกิด” เอง. ด้วยความบริสุทธิ์เขาเพิ่มพูนอัคนี (Agni) และเพิ่มพูนอินทระ (Indra); และเพื่อพวกเรา เขาสร้างคอกกว้างอุดมด้วยโค และที่นั่งแห่งการชุมนุม.
