संहिताञ्छान्दसीं साधु जप्त्वा प्रीणाति शङ्करं स्कन्दीं पैत्र्यां संहिताञ्च जप्त्वा स्यात्तु प्रसादवान् भैषज्यञ्च गणं हुत्वा सर्वान्रोगान् व्यापोहति त्रिसप्तीयं गणं हुत्वा सर्वपापैः प्रमुच्यते
saṃhitāñchāndasīṃ sādhu japtvā prīṇāti śaṅkaraṃ skandīṃ paitryāṃ saṃhitāñca japtvā syāttu prasādavān bhaiṣajyañca gaṇaṃ hutvā sarvānrogān vyāpohati trisaptīyaṃ gaṇaṃ hutvā sarvapāpaiḥ pramucyate
เมื่อสวด “ฉานทสีสังหิตา” อย่างถูกต้อง ย่อมทำให้ศังกร (พระศิวะ) พอพระทัย และเมื่อสวด “สกันที” กับ “ไปตรียา” สังหิตา ย่อมเป็นผู้ได้รับพระกรุณา เมื่อถวายอาหุติแด่ “ไภษัชยคณะ” ย่อมขจัดโรคทั้งปวง และเมื่อถวายอาหุติแด่ “ตรีสัปตียคณะ” ย่อมพ้นจากบาปทั้งสิ้น
