Encyclopedic Reference: {"reference_type":"Procedure","entry_title":"Brahma-mantra-aṅga with dravya-kāla: Śakti-santarpana at kumbha-prokṣita kuśa-mūla","lookup_keywords":["brahma-mantra","aṅga","dravya-kāla","kumbha-jala","kuśa-mūla"],"quick_summary":"Use Brahma-mantras with their auxiliaries, matching materials and timing; empower/satiate Śakti and perform the establishment at the kuśa root purified by pot-sprinkling."}
Concept: Ritual correctness is triadic: mantra + aṅga + dravya-kāla; śakti is ‘made operative’ through sanctified supports (kumbha-jala, kuśa).
Application: Do not separate mantra from its auxiliaries and proper timing/materials; use purified supports (kumbha water, kuśa) as the locus for establishment.

Related Themes: Agni Purana 96 (kumbha, prokṣaṇa, mantra-aṅga usage)
It specifies a procedural step in Śakti-oriented worship: empower (santarpya) the invoked Śakti using Brahma-mantras and the rite’s aṅgas, timed and supplied correctly, and perform the act at a kuśa-root locus sanctified by kumbha-water sprinkling.
It preserves a manual-like, implementable ritual protocol—mantra selection, ancillary components (aṅga), material/time compliance, and consecration mechanics (kumbha-prokṣaṇa)—showing the Agni Purana’s breadth beyond mythology into liturgical technology.
By aligning mantra, auxiliaries, correct timing/materials, and consecrated space, the rite is believed to become efficacious and purifying—supporting siddhi-oriented worship while maintaining ritual śuddhi (sanctity) and right performance (vidhi).
