Vidya Category: {"primary_vidya":"Tantra","secondary_vidya":"Mantra","practical_application":"Nyāsa-based subtle-body installation: mapping kriyāśakti and nāda onto bodily stations (especially lips/throat) to stabilize prāṇa flow and prepare for homa/īśa-agni worship.","sutra_style":true}
Encyclopedic Reference: {"reference_type":"Procedure","entry_title":"Nyāsa of Kriyāśakti and Nāda; Nāḍī-sandhāna from Kaṇṭha with Sthaṇḍila–Agni–Īśa","lookup_keywords":["nyasa","kriyashakti","nada","nadi-sandhana","kantha"],"quick_summary":"Install kriyāśakti in designated stations and place nāda at the lips; then establish the inner ‘ghaṭa’ beginning at the throat by joining nāḍīs, integrating altar, fire, and Śiva as a unified ritual-energetic field."}
Concept: Deha as mantra-yantra: śakti and nāda are installed through nyāsa; nāḍī-sandhāna unifies ritual space and inner physiology.
Application: Use as preparatory limb before homa/japa: stabilize attention at lips/throat, then ‘join’ channels to prevent dispersion of prāṇa during worship.
Khanda Section: Puja-vidhi / Tantra-yoga (Nyasa, Pranayama, Kundalini-related practice)
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A sādhaka seated before a ritual altar and fire, performing nyāsa: touching lips and throat while visualizing luminous channels joining, with Śiva-īśa presence above the fire.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala temple mural style, flat vibrant colors; yogin before sthaṇḍila and agni, right hand touching lips/throat in nyāsa, subtle nāḍīs drawn as white-gold lines, Śiva-īśa aura behind the fire, ornamental borders","tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting with gold leaf; central agni-kuṇḍa and sthaṇḍila, sādhaka performing nyāsa at lips, Śiva-īśa as radiant bust above flames, heavy jewelry-like embellishment on ritual vessels, rich reds and greens","mysore_prompt":"Mysore style, delicate linework; instructional depiction of nyāsa points (lips, throat) and nāḍī-joining diagram overlay, small agni-kuṇḍa with offerings, calm interior temple setting","mughal_miniature_prompt":"Mughal miniature, fine detailing; ascetic in a pavilion with a small fire altar, gesture to lips and throat, translucent lines indicating nāḍīs, subtle depiction of Śiva as a luminous presence, manuscript-margin annotations feel"}
Audio Atmosphere: {"recitation_mood":"contemplative","suggested_raga":"Bhairavi","pace":"medium","voice_tone":"instructional"}
Sandhi Resolution Notes: tathānyāsu = tathā + anyāsu; nādamoṣṭhe = nādam + oṣṭhe; sthaṇḍilavahnīśaiḥ = sthaṇḍila + vahni + īśaiḥ; nāḍīsandhānakantataḥ = nāḍī + sandhāna + kanta + -taḥ (tas).

It teaches a nyāsa-based subtle-body procedure: placing kriyāśakti in designated stations, placing nāda at the lips, and performing nāḍī-sandhāna (linking subtle channels) starting at the throat while ritually aligning with the altar (sthaṇḍila), fire (Agni), and Īśa (Śiva).
Beyond mythic narration, it preserves practical ritual-technical instructions—nyāsa, nāḍī theory, and nāda-focused practice—showing how the Agni Purana functions as a compendium of pūjā-vidhi and yogic-tantric methods alongside other sciences.
By consecrating speech and breath (lips, throat, nāḍīs) through nyāsa and nāda, the practitioner is taught to purify the body as a sacred vessel (ghaṭa), stabilize mantra-power, and align personal action (kriyāśakti) with divine agencies (Agni and Īśa) for sanctified, merit-bearing practice.
