FAQs

It teaches a Vāstu-vidyā step: worship of specific deities placed in the corner-directions (Īśāna through Vāyu) on the outer perimeter of the Vāstu-maṇḍala, following a fixed sequence.

By prescribing a precise, implementable rule for Vāstu-maṇḍala deity placement and worship (a technical ritual-architecture topic), it exemplifies the Agni Purana’s coverage beyond mythology into applied sciences like Vāstu and temple procedure.

Correctly honoring the mandala’s directional and corner powers is presented as harmonizing the sacred space, removing site-related obstacles (doṣa), and sanctifying construction/installation rites for auspicious results.
