ॐ क्लीं शिखायै हूं फट् ॐ हः अस्त्राय हूं फट् स्रुचि तां घृतपूर्णायां गोविड्गोलकमध्यगां संविधायास्त्रमन्त्रेण हूं फडन्तेन होमयेत्
oṃ klīṃ śikhāyai hūṃ phaṭ oṃ haḥ astrāya hūṃ phaṭ sruci tāṃ ghṛtapūrṇāyāṃ goviḍgolakamadhyagāṃ saṃvidhāyāstramantreṇa hūṃ phaḍantena homayet
ให้สวดว่า “โอม กลีṃ แด่ศิขา: หูṃ ผัฏ; โอม หะห์ แด่อัสตระ: หูṃ ผัฏ” แล้วจัดวางสฺรุจิในภาชนะที่เต็มด้วยเนยใส โดยตั้งก้อนมูลวัวไว้กลางภาชนะ จากนั้นทำโหมะพร้อมเปล่งอัสตระมนตร์ที่ลงท้ายด้วย “หูṃ ผัฏ”.
