Concept: Śakti (kalā) is ritually ‘installed’ and made operative; adhikāra is conferred under Brahmā’s jurisdiction for dīkṣā of a mumukṣu.
Application: Ritual manual use: follow sequence for kumbha-sthāpana, arghya, homa counts (3+3), and Brahmā-āvāhana; contemplatively, link breath (recaka) and mudrā to stabilization of intention and presence.

It teaches a precise tantric-pūjā sequence: meditate on and install Nivṛtti-kalā via nyāsa, establish it in a kumbha using Va-mudrā and recaka, offer arghya with a specific bīja-mantra, then perform homa—three oblations for sannidhāna and three for tarpana—followed by Brahmā-āvāhana and propitiation for initiating a mumukṣu.
Beyond mythic narration, it records operational ritual technology—mudrā, breath-control terminology (recaka), kumbha-installation, graded oblation counts, and deity-invocation logic—showing the Agni Purana as a compendium of applied mantra-śāstra and pūjā-vidhi.
By invoking Nivṛtti (withdrawal from bondage) and formally bringing Brahmā into the rite’s jurisdiction, the procedure ritually authorizes and purifies the initiation context, aligning the aspirant (mumukṣu) with liberation-oriented discipline and sanctioned transmission (dīkṣā).
