Related Themes: Agni Purana 81 (dravya-guṇa, māna, aushadha-yoga context)
It gives a technical Ayurvedic instruction on adding specific small grains (tuṇḍala, śyāmaka, etc.) into a preparation and fixes the single-person dosage as five prasṛtis.
By prescribing concrete dietary/medicinal formulation details—ingredients and measurable quantities—it exemplifies how the Agni Purana functions as a compendium that includes practical Ayurveda alongside theology and ritual.
Though primarily medical, such regulated, sattvic dietary preparation supports bodily purity and discipline, which traditional Dharma-Ayurveda regards as conducive to steadiness in study, vows, and meritorious practice.
