Related Themes: Agni Purana 79 (Puja-vidhi sequence: snana, upacara-sangraha, pavitra, puja, visarjana)
It gives a practical sequence for Śiva-pūjā: morning purification (snāna and preliminaries), collecting worship materials, offering consecrated items and eight flowers, and concluding with ritual dismissal (visarjana/udvāsana).
By codifying step-by-step worship protocol (pūjā-vidhi) alongside many other disciplines, it shows the Agni Purana functioning as a manual of applied religious practice, not only mythology.
The verse emphasizes purity, devotion, and proper closure of worship—framing the rite as spiritually efficacious when performed with śauca (cleanliness), bhakti, and correct ritual completion.
