हां वसुभ्यो ऽथ रुद्रेभ्यो विश्वेभ्यश् चैव मरुद्भ्यः भृगुभ्यो हामङ्गिरोभ्य ऋषीन् कण्ठोपवीत्यथ

ต่อจากนั้นถวายวาจาอาหุติ “หาง (hāṁ)” แด่เหล่าวสุ แล้วแด่เหล่ารุทระ; และถวายแด่วิศเวเทวะกับหมู่มรุตด้วย ต่อไปถวายแด่ภฤคุและอังคิรส แล้วจึงบูชาฤษีทั้งหลาย โดยสวมอุปวีตไว้ที่คอ (กัณโฐปวีตะ).
