Related Themes: Agni Purana 69 (kalasha-sthapana sequence)
It gives a precise step in pūjā-vidhi: ritually concluding the use of darbha (kuśa) with the Puṇḍarīkākṣa-mantra and installing a central consecration pot (kalaśa) filled with water and auspicious valuables (gems).
It preserves practical liturgical micro-instructions—mantra-application, handling of ritual implements (darbha), and kalaśa installation—showing the text’s coverage of procedural religion alongside its many other disciplines.
Dismissing darbha with a Viṣṇu-linked mantra and placing an auspicious, water-filled kalaśa centers purity and divine presence in the rite, supporting sanctification (śuddhi) and the accrual of ritual merit (puṇya).
