FAQs

It teaches mantra-nyāsa: ritually installing the Puruṣa-sūkta (sahasraśīrṣā) onto the cakra, then establishing the Sudarśana-mantra and assigning the manas-tattva as part of a structured worship/installation sequence.

Beyond narrative theology, it preserves a practical ritual technology—specific hymns, deity-mantras, and tattva-mappings—showing the Agni Purana’s role as a compendium of applied liturgy and tantric-ritual procedure.

By consecrating the cakra with Vedic hymn and Sudarśana-mantra, the practitioner aligns mind (manas) with the deity’s protective power, aiming at purification, inner steadiness, and removal of obstacles through properly installed worship.
