Chapter 59 — अधिवासनकथनं

Adhivāsana: The Rite of Inviting and Stabilizing Hari’s Presence

हुत्वाग्निं हुतमिति कुण्डेग्निं प्रणयेद्बुधः अग्निप्रणयने मन्त्रस्त्वमग्ने ह्य् अग्निरुच्यते

hutvāgniṃ hutamiti kuṇḍegniṃ praṇayedbudhaḥ agnipraṇayane mantrastvamagne hy agnirucyate

เมื่อถวายลงในไฟพร้อมกล่าวว่า “หุตัม” (“ได้ถวายแล้ว”) ผู้รู้พึงทำพิธีอัคนิ-ประณยนะ คืออัญเชิญไฟเข้าสู่กุณฑะ (หลุมไฟ). มนต์สำหรับอัคนิ-ประณยนะคือ “ตฺวํ อคฺเน …” เพราะในพิธีนั้นเรียกอัคนีว่า ‘อัคนี’ โดยตรง
