नागः करग्रहश् चैशे अष्टौ दिशि दिशि स्मृताः आद्यन्तौ तु तयोर्देवौ प्रोक्तावत्र गृहेश्वरौ

ในผังวาสตุนี้ นาคะ และ กรครหะ ถูกจดจำว่าเป็นแปด ประจำอยู่ทิศละหนึ่ง และในที่นี้ เทพสององค์ที่อยู่ ณ ต้นและปลายของลำดับนั้น ได้ประกาศว่าเป็น คฤเหศวร (เจ้าแห่งเรือน)
