It prescribes a Vaishnava vrata procedure: after completing purification rites like snāna and sandhyā, one should anoint the deity with candana and worship Lord Hari specifically on Ekādaśī in the yāga-gṛha.
It exemplifies the Agni Purana’s practical manual-style coverage of religious life—linking calendrical observance (Ekādaśī), personal discipline (snāna-sandhyā), ritual materials (candanādyāḥ), and the correct worship setting (yāga-gṛha).
Observing Ekādaśī with purity and focused worship of Hari is presented as a meritorious discipline that supports inner purification, devotion (bhakti), and the accrual of religious merit through properly performed rites.
