रुद्र उवाच ॥ कथं कपालं मे देव करात्पतति सुव्रत ॥ नश्यते च कथं पापं ममैदद्वद सुव्रत ॥

rudra uvāca || kathaṁ kapālaṁ me deva karāt patati suvrata || naśyate ca kathaṁ pāpaṁ mama etad vada suvrata ||

రుద్రుడు పలికెను—హే దేవా, హే సువ్రతా, నా చేతి నుండి ఈ కపాలం ఎలా పడిపోతుంది? మరియు నా ఈ పాపం ఎలా నశిస్తుంది? హే సువ్రతా, ఇది నాకు చెప్పుము।
