The Manifestation of Māyā as Durgā/Kātyāyanī and the Slaying of Vaitrāsura

हते वैत्रासुरे भीमे तदा सर्वे दिवौकसः । प्रणेमुर्जय युद्धेति स्वयमीशः स्तुतिं जगौ ॥ २८.२६ ॥

hate vaitrāsure bhīme tadā sarve divaukasaḥ | praṇemur jaya yuddheti svayam īśaḥ stutiṃ jagau || 28.26 ||

భయంకరమైన వైత్రాసురుడు హతుడైనప్పుడు, సమస్త దివౌకసులు నమస్కరించి “యుద్ధంలో జయం!” అని పలికారు. అప్పుడు స్వయంగా ఈశ్వరుడు స్తుతిని పాడాడు।
