न पश्यन्ति शिवं तत्र तदेषां भयमाविशत् ॥ भीतास्ते संविदं कृत्वा सञ्चिन्त्य गुरुलाघवम् ॥
na paśyanti śivaṃ tatra tadeṣāṃ bhayam āviśat || bhītās te saṃvidaṃ kṛtvā sañcintya gurulāghavam ||
అక్కడ వారు శివుణ్ణి చూడలేదు; అప్పుడు భయం వారిని ఆవరించింది. భయపడిన వారు పరస్పర ఒప్పందం చేసుకొని, గురు-లఘువులను (లాభనష్టాలను) తూకమేశారు.
