यम उवाच ॥ विवर्णं जायते वक्त्रं शुष्यते न च संशयः ॥ यन्मया हीदृशं दृष्टं श्रूयतां तन्महामुने

యముడు అన్నాడు—ముఖం వర్ణహీనమై ఎండిపోతుంది; ఇందులో సందేహం లేదు. నేను ఇలాంటి దాన్ని చూసినది, ఓ మహామునీ, వినుము।
