जपन्तश्चैव जाप्यानि पूजयन्तश्च देवताः ॥ ऊर्ध्वबाहवः केचित्तिष्ठन्तोऽन्ये सुदारुणम् ॥

కొందరు జపించవలసిన మంత్రాలను జపించిరి, కొందరు దేవతలను పూజించిరి; కొందరు చేతులు పైకెత్తి నిలిచిరి, మరికొందరు అత్యంత కఠినమైన భంగిమలలో నిలిచిరి.
