नारद उवाच ॥ श्रुत्वा तु मृतसंस्कारमात्रेयोक्तं यथाविधि ॥ चातुवर्ण्यस्य सर्वस्य त्वया धर्मः प्रतिष्ठितः ॥
nārada uvāca || śrutvā tu mṛtasaṃskāram ātreyoktaṃ yathāvidhi || cāturvarṇyasya sarvasya tvayā dharmaḥ pratiṣṭhitaḥ ||
నారదుడు అన్నాడు—ఆత్రేయుడు యథావిధిగా ఉపదేశించిన మృతసంస్కారాన్ని విని, మీచేత సమస్త చాతుర్వర్ణ్యానికి ధర్మం స్థాపితమైంది।
